SciMeditor does not actively screen for plagiarism but occasionally a sentence that is similar to a sentence in the cited reference are found. In this case, the sentence will be paraphrased. If large blocks of similar text are detected, the manuscript will be returned to the author with advice to reformulate the manuscript as appropriate. SciMeditor recommends that you use a program to screen for plagiarism because it is easy to introduce it inadvertently during the writing process (see FAQs).

Turnaround time begins after the corresponding author has formally stated by email that SciMeditor can start working on their project.
While SciMeditor always seeks to deliver the work within the specified time (7 days for the Regular Service and 72 hours for the Express Service), SciMeditor cannot be held responsible for any cancellation or delay caused by the client's action of Acts of God (such as natural disasters like fire or flood, civil disturbance, industrial action, or any other situation beyond my control, such as ill health). In such an event, SciMeditor will notify the client of the circumstances. This will allow the client and SciMeditor to withdraw from the contract for the work. The client shall pay SciMeditor for any work completed and SciMeditor will do its best to assist the client in placing the work elsewhere or take some other remedial action.
If, for any other reason the work is delivered beyond the deadline, SciMeditor is obliged to refund 10% of the cost for each day the delivery date exceeds the deadline.
If the client cancels the work after it has been ordered, the client is obliged to pay for all the work completed up to that date on a pro-rata basis. If the client cancels less than 24 hours before the work is due, they will be obliged to pay the fee in full.
Payments can be made by credit card, wire transfer, or check. All payments must be received within 30 days of receiving the edited work.
Please read all edits carefully. The author is responsible for the final wording of the paper. SciMeditor cannot be responsible for any edits made after our edits.
Other than providing the best editing service possible, SciMeditor cannot influence whether the journal accepts your manuscript.
